OcUK 24" on dvi

Guys is it normal for the OcUK 24" monitor to displays a 'disconnected' message when you boot it up or shut down?

Mine then seems to flicker and come to life but always starts out for like .5 seconds, then does a disconnected message, and then starts working again. Is this normal?

2 ports on my GFX card, does it matter which i use?

its normal and happens to my Dell LCDs as well.

Btw the monitor is excellent, not looked for dead pixels n such but have not seen them so no complaints
