OcUK 24" vs Samsung 22"

Using the ocuk here. Thought it was really blurry but turned out to be the motion blur on Crysis!

Call of duty, WoW and Crysis run fine and are great. If you're a pro gamer, then 2ms might be worth it, but personally I find the ocuk great. I use my system for gaming and no complaints here.

IMO anyone who says they still use a CRT for gaming are just being over fussy or just stupidly sensitive eyes!

THE OCUK 24" MONTIOR IS SUCH A GOOD ONE, IM ON MY THIRD...

Well the first one had a black line running across the screen - Sent It Back

My replacement that arrived today JUST DOSENT WORK - Sent It Back

Im now waiting for my third to be sent to me... FINGER CROSSED!

:D If you can get one that works, Its an awesome monitor!

That is truly terrible luck tbh!

That sucks sime. I've had mine for 24 hours now and so far it has not shown any problems and I'm very happy with it. Looks great in wow and lord of the rings online, with so much screen real estate I want to cry with joy.

When it arrived I did notice that the monitor was slightly cold and damp and I know that condensation on electronic parts can be a killer. So I let it acclimatise near, but not too close, to a raditor for a good few hours before I plugged it in. Just though I'd share that, even if it's probably not what happened to you.

Aye when I rang the guy on the phone was pretty appolgetic and saying how unlucky I was to get another dodgey one...

So now I wait till probably Tuesday to see if this one is any better :). Theres a large part of me wanting it to arrive back perfect...

...But there also a small part of me just like "How funny would it be if it arrived and ANOTHER thing was wrong with it"

:p

Well mine seems good so far. Have not gone out of my way to check for dead pixels though as that would result in me seeing them all the time, as it is i dont have to worry about it :)

of course there is, its inevitable. wiggle your mouse around and tell me you cant see 4 or 5 of them. that's ghosting right there. however, it is very minimal in gaming on the screen. but with some fast paced action you do get some texture blurring and and fuzzy lines. In all honesty though, they are still very good.

This is exactly what I saw whilst playing css last night & was thinking I'm gonna switch back over to my viewsonic & what stopped me was I like to see the colour of the game aswell not the TN colour mismatch.

I'd say the monitor is great & my only worry is the warranty registration with DGM, still not confirmed on mine yet!
