(Talking about the OcUK GeForce 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) & Call of Duty 2 Bundle - Retail (GX-032-OK) or the Leadtek GeForce 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-069-LT), both £179.95)

I ain't really bothered about CoD2, so which is the better card? Price suggests Leadtek one is better, but I am in the middle of speccing a rig for myself in general hardware and the chap who replied said not worth getting the Leadtek. Thought I'd check further on this one just to be sure before ordering.

What does that VIVO bit do?

Thanks in advance

The leadtek 7800gt are rumored to have a much quieter fan if that's of any interest to you..

I think the VIVO lead is to output HD to your standard TV,,

There both the same board, only the heatsink and fan are different,,Just sold by two different company's..

I don't know what the warranty & support is like on any of them two.

That would be of interest to me! Can anyone confirm this at all, cos obviously if there is no diff I'll go for the OcUK one (may as well have the game than not have it), but if it is a lot quieter then I would go for the Leadtek one ...

I got the overclockers one last week and have had no problems with it. COD2 also included, just the disk mind you.

Had no fan noises expect on start up, but once in windows the fan seems to stop unless worked really had.

Got potential overclocking also as it registers the optimal frequencies as 490/1180.

Not yet got round the clocking it to this as my rig is only a week old but card seems fine to me.

Cheers, went for the Overclockers one in the end cos I decided it would be nice to have something to test its power out on. Getting the Antec Sonata II Black Piano Quiet case so hopefully if there is any noise it will be toned down by the case anyway ...
