looking at the above card, does anyone know who makes these? are they a board partners OEM or some factory in china?

anyone know?

Obviously I would like to make sure they are the same build quality and use decent components before I buy.

Most of them seem to be Point of View, but that's not a guarantee it will be.

i would have thought they use cheaper components, such as cooling. (which is why they are cheaper than other brands)

Jesus thats a cracking price for a GTX, thats about £100 cheaper than here, and only £20 more than these guys are doing a GT for. :eek:

Many other sites are advertising seemingly unbeatable pricing on 7900's but do they actually have stock? It's easy to offer the earth if you know you will never have to complete the deal!

They probably do, i picked up my Sapphire x1800 XT 512mb £100 cheaper than here, and they were in stock, but not in stock here at the time.

*Awaits Gibbo coming to post how rubbish they will be to keep sales here.

They have no stock of 7900gtx left..But they have a PNY 7900GT in stock.

Not cheaper components, I think its just the standard reference design/cooler, which do the job fine. I have the ocuk 7800gtx (point of view) and it's working brill.

Hi there

The OcUK 7900 GT's are due for arrival Wednesday in very large numbers and will be a mixture of Inno3D's and Galaxy cards. We shall be inspecting stock upon arrival as there is an off chance the Galaxy could be fitted with the new Zalman VF900 cooler and if they are we shall list them as that product but I highly doubt they will be. They are NVIDIA built reference cards so quality is equal to any other brand and were only getting so many because we took Europes allocation.

The GTX's are also a mix of Inno3D and Galaxy but those are not such a good deal as supply is still very limited keeping prices high.

Though we have plenty of 7900 GT's for everyone.

No sorry it aint, they didn't do that model before the 7900's came out.

Because in China,Galaxy has start sell the 7900GT with Zalman cooler for many days...

Well its looking like a possibility that they could have this cooler. But I am still skeptical as on the Galaxy website their pics show just a reference board with a reference heatsink. I am thinking they will add further products to their website featuring these advanced coolers and the products we recieve will be just NVIDIA reference cards with reference coolers. As I would suspect the ones fitted with VF900's to be approx $30 more......

You will get better performance if you have both in SLI, trust me
