Was going to go for a x1950 pro, but might consider spending 100+ more and getting one of these

go for the bfg one because of the lifetime warranty the extra price is well worth the warranty. even then its not expensive

All the same* card, just different stickers, warranties, bundles, and most importantly, prices.

Or in the case of the BFG, t-shirts


*There are some evga ones with new coolers on, but not worth the extra expenditure IMHO

Looks like the price difference is reflected in the Warranty... only 1 year on the OCUK cards

You really are paying for the extra warranty.
An 8800gts has to conform to NVidia's build specs to be allowed to carry the title "8800gts".

I have one of the OcUK/Point of View 7800GTX cards and it has been excellent and when I consider how little I paid for it compared to the bigger brands...

i jusr read over on the guru3d forums theres a type of gts coming out soon that only has 300 or something memory, thus making it about 100 wing wangs cheaper...

could this be one of those??...

I have one of the OcUK/Point of View 7800GTX cards and it has been excellent and when I consider how little I paid for it compared to the bigger brands...

I can back this up, I upgraded recently to the BFG 8800GTS from an ocUK 7800GTX. The card was perfect, and overclocked fine as well. The only reason I went with BFG this time is because of the lifetime warranty.
