Keep it up guys, lets get some more PS3's involved though

Am I allowed to make such a request in Consoles and Hardware or has someone tried it before?

We have done some Join Us threads in other sub-forums before and it has given mixed results. Usually descends into arguments and not many people end up joining

However, the PS3 client is something new and different. Am I correct in thinking the PS3 comes with the client pre-installed? I am also told by a friend folding for Team 10 on his PS3 that it is a doddle to set up.

I am sure if you were to create a thread asking for PS3 folders you would get some interest

It is VERY easy to setup. You need to establish the Internet connection first. The software isn't actually pre-installed as such, but there is an icon below the PLAYSTATION Store icon. If you select this the software will be downloaded for you. You just need to set your username (Default = PS3) and team number (Default = 0), once the program is running. The application doesn't run in the background like on a PC, so if you exit to play a game you are no longer folding, but you can set it to auto-start after a fixed period of the console being idle.

) then it couldn't go too far wrong. Maybe something along the lines of "Just to let you know OcUK already have a team and you're very welcome to come and join in - here's how to set it up" rather than a hardcore pimping thread accusing people of being lazy if they don't set it up
