Email me your name I will search for you.

Sorry there has been no updates yet on here, Just been busy over the holiday period, normal service will resume soon :D

Your system is being built by rich, I have been taking pictures of the build and will be posting them soon.

This is a really good thread - I used to be a PC builder at a busy computer shop and it was a great feeling to do a good job of building up a system for an excited customer!

Do OcUK system builders get training on how to make the builds so neat and tidy? Out of interest, what tests do you run on the systems before you let them out of the door?

I mostly train the new guys how to build neat systems, Rich wasn't so hard as he already had the skills from building his personal pcs.

The systems undergo Prime 95 testing, Furmark and Sandra soft before shipping.

The computers we have back are due to taking knocks during transit, mainly gfx issues,
so if a large card is installed we usually ask the customer to install on site (cables, screws, drivers already installed)
as it saves the card and motherboard from being damaged during transit.

It's a bit like when you receive a washing machine you have to do a little DIY before installing.

Out of interest. How many boxes is a complete system shipped in? One big one? Or a couple?

Thanks. :)

The base unit build is shipped in 1 large box along with motherboard box and GFX boxes etc.

if you order a monitor, keyboard, mouse and so on, they go in another box.

We built a custom computer yesterday with I7 and 2x 295 GTX and almost smashed the highest score on the orb at 36106 marks.

I will upload pics of the rig soon.

Well about the rouge screw in the system I can only apologise on that and agree is shouldn't of happened,
If you have any issues with your system or something you're not happy about I will always try to fix any problems.

If you're not happy with the Side pannel I will replace it with a new one instantly.

This thread is about build logs and should be made clear that it's about Various builds we do and pics and logs of the builds + requests
for members to ask for their system to be featured in this thread, Any other issues Be it complaints of any nature please use the customer
support line and they will sort any problems you have or give us a call on the system support line and the guys will help you all they can.

Feedback is good, be is good or bad, the good things we keep up, the bad things we aim to better at.

Which one is yours smogsy?

We have taken quite afew pictures today of builds, so will upload pictures in the morning.

I would try and Reseat the cards I think they may have been dislodged in transit.

We would like to remove the gfx cards from systems, but we only do it on larger cards and customer needs to comfirm it.

Let me know how you get on.

yeah reseat both cards, and download the 181.20 drivers, reinstall the 180.20, they will be located in your C: nvidia folder.

If its still not right, give rich a call on sat and he will sort you out, I fear it might be a DOA card :( damn courier.

which motherboard is installed? The p6t Deluxe?

If so its the top 2 slots for SLI.

to see if both cards work I would try one card on its own, take one card out test it, then try the other card on its own.

Would this problem not of been detected in the workshop?

(I'm not be funny or rude just asking a question)

Yeah we test the all the systems, be it cpu, ram, gfx so on.

Things out side my controll do happen.

I have had this issue on my own machine, where it would black screen when SLI was on, and it was a faulty card, which worked fine on its own and not in SLI.

Best thing do is call up ocuk now, ask to speak to rich, I would help now but im not in today.
