going to order my PC this saturday cant wait for ocuk to build it as its my birthday next wednesday! 14th jan woo!

You know, it might be an idea to post a basic pictorial build guide using your most popular components for those that may otherwise just buy a Dell.

Fantastic hardware pics, lovely bits of kit... so much nicer than playing with servers all day 
Why though, on the system with 12TB of storage have you got 32gig solid state drives in there too?
Love the water cooling, never touched on that yet, always had a fear of PC+water for some reason, maybe time i spec'd up a new gaming rig, not bought one for 3 years and its begining to show its age.
What do OcUK charge for build/test?

rjkoneill that is one nice build... I do think that an OcUK mug I would definately buy, but I think that it should be exclusive to forum members with a high post count

it is a mandatory feature on all of my build pictures now
everybody knows you cant build a killer system without a decent brew on the go!

the build had a £800+ RAID card - the 12TB of storage were ran off that [burst rate was immense, like quicker than DDR2!]
the 4 intel SSD's were ran off the board in RAID for the OS
the system is RAPID - but im sure you guessed that
as for build charges - it depends on the complexity of the build etc
but you must remember that the charge also includes our return to base warranty that you just wouldnt get with a self build
Just ordered an Ultima Edge Core i7 Custom as a treat to myself.
Can't wait now!

That pic does look fantastic, like the thread as never bought off the site and interested in buying a system as my current one was four years old there in November. This really gives an idea. Sorry to ask this but could you paste the spc and final price with Vat on the systems…
One other worry is the actual size, that case looks massive. I have 3 space bays and then my DVD drive that will never fit under my desk, well it will but be dam close!

we have a choice of cases - whichever one suits your needs
as mentioned earlier in the thread - we are avoiding prices and talk of money as threads like that soon turn into arguments full of money
its more courteous to the customer to not mention it
and saves the thread getting out of hand - its all about hardware appreciation!
give us a call when you are ready to order and we will get something together to suit your needs
remember to post up in this thread if you are buying a system and want pics posting

Understandable just trying to judge if it’s a system I’d buy or a dear lord is that the cost ….just bought a new car so wanting to keep it sensible.. But at the very least its good to know you take pride in your building.
