OcUK Call of Duty 4 Clan/Community ?

Seems theres quite a few of us playing Call of Duty 4

now, back in the day, OcUK had a very good CS community when CS wasnt the game of choice for 10 year olds. CS went out of favour and Battlefiled became everybodys favourite

OcuK had a decent BF1942 / Desert Combat community that frequented MadMacs server quite a lot. This community then kind of became 50k but most OcUkers still played DC / BF2 on the 50klicks server

And i have to admit, a game becomes all the more enjoyable once you get a community going. Gaming night after night with the same people etc.. is fun. even if you dont become a full on clan and enter competitions and such

anybody interested ?

on the clan front, i dont think it will happen, but a community with a regular server might be a good idea

anybody got a COD4 Clan server or in a position to host one ?

secondly, what do most people play. I Prefer TDM mainly.

just a quick note

if we get serious, we could have an OcUK Jolt COD 4 server for £26 / month

if we can get 12 people or so interested thats £2 a month to have our own server. We can use jolts clan pay system as well so you all pay jolt rather than me

reckon we should get a mod to start a poll

as it seems we're all playing different game modes, so need to settle on a game mode (or 2) thats most popular.

this thread doesnt seem to be dieing so im guessing theres still interest in this ?

we need to settle on some game types to avoid everybody getting the hump. Can the mods start a vote for us and we can look at finding a home to all start frequenting ?
