Vastly cheaper than competitors, but of course more expensive than regular SSD's, why well look at those IOPS and of course the 5yr warranty.

Absolutely insane SSD's these are which are more a corporate/server level product, but as a gaming SSD and operating system SSD are absolutely crazy performance due to the IOPS and 3D XPoint. :)

Limited time offer so do not miss out. :)

If these are PCI3 can they be set as boot drive?

-edit
additional stupid question, as they have vent ports, do these things have inbuild fans?
or is the port for passive ventilation/dust collection?

What about the upcoming Optane 660P? If leaks are to be believed this could be the first 500GB Optane at around $100? Any news on this OcUK?

Very interested by the 660p, would be keen to know when OCUK had them in stock.

Given they seem to be likely to hit the US first will the 1Tb drives be available in the UK at launch, 500Bg, looks good, but the larger SLC cache on the 1Tb makes it a bit more appealing beyond simply storage capacity.

that is what i would like to know is why are these so much more expensive compared to NVME drives, I cant see much speed advantage?

am i missing something here?

Corporate level SSD, much higher level of IOPS which should generally show itself as a performance advantage, particular as the drive becomes fuller.
They make exceptional boot SSD's, but are also great as a backup.

They are of course more aimed at corporate and professional level due to the performance on offer, but they make fine gaming SSD's.

However they are expensive and as SSD's these days are so fast in generaly, you'd be hard to notice the improvement say over a Samsung 970 EVO or 970 Pro.
