OcUK Cinebench R15 benchmark thread

Nothing exciting - Stock speed FX-8320 :)

did you just buy all the cpu's? wtf

anyway here is my new and improved score. got over 700 now :o

More CPUs than in RIG. Rig is too short:D. I have 3 desktop PCs, one benchtable PC and one notebook. And few motherboards (maybe 10), around 30 CPUs, some DRAM kits, 3 PSUs only for extreme OC (750-1200W). Never sell it - too much love:D

4930k @ 6184 DDR3 2700 9-12-12-21 1T ASUS RIVE BE.

Cinebench 6 CPU world record.

awesome, so desktop CPU WR :-)

I can't believe i have just destroyed a 4.6Ghz AMD FX-6 core with a 4 year old 4.2Ghz AMD 6 core.

FPU performance, I've alluded to the fact a Thuban's capable of doing so, just never see many thubans anymore :(

I wonder what my Thuban could have done, could Cinebench at 4.5GHZ.

Its right ^^^^ :)

I'm still playing with it, I have the CPU-NB @ 2600Mhz, its adding about 5%, but the IMC is not so stable in this one, volts for the IMC are at 1.325v, which seems a bit high already.

The CPU is at 1.42v with very high LLC, i have tried it at 4.3Ghz @ 1.44v, its gets near the end and Cinebench errors out.

Temperatures are good, 48c at the cores on IBT, but Current Compatibility is already at 130%, it will go higher. but i think thats already high.

You aren't even pushing that chip particularly hard. I had to push 1.55 volts through my deneb to get 4GHz sufficiently stable that it could run cinebench/super pi. Same for the IMC to run it at 2.9GHz. I ran that chip at 1.45V/1.35V for nearly 5 years solid and suffered no deterioration. (though i was running an older 790FX board which had no LLC/over-current settings.) Always ran warm though, even under water it still hit low 50's. Pre water it ran at a consistent 60-62 under a megahalems.

I'm going to try higher volts later on.

If I can get it to score 650 I will be happy.

A man after my own heart or no brains, when seeing how my new build with a 4820k CPU:4.7GHz 1.4v it took 1.5v to get to 4.8GHz. I just clenched me buttocks and connected the house to 3 phase on the National Grid and pressed button B.

No, I have the gold one and max Cinebench is 4260 MHz with 1.56V, CPU is very hot, cooling Xigmatek Dark Knight+3000RPM Ultra Kaze...

Hm, the problem is not exactly FPU performance, but 3 units for 6 cores, so FP is overloading in Cinebench :)

The only screenshot I have of my Thuban is a 4.375GHZ of IBT, it could Cinebench at 4.5GHZ (You'll have to take my word on this, it simply was an absolute Golden chip). I had mine under a 120.3 RAD.

That was far from the best the chip was capable of too.

Given launch day you could bench 1090T's at 4.2GHZ, a "Gold" 4260MHZ Cinebench run doesn't sound all that gold ;)

And those 3 units on the 6 cores are the reason for the FPU performance, as Cinebench is an FPU benchmark, (So if you ran an FX4300 in Cinebench, then compared to an FX8320 running 1 core per module, the results should be higher on the FX83)
