OcUK Cinebench R15 benchmark thread

No idea what I am doing. All I know is this machine which I bought for £450 sucks for gaming at 1440p. (Why I am only currently playing Hearthstone!).

Has this been updated lately? Got screen shots of higher scores from my first 4790k I had. Yet to clock the new one.

My pitiful attempt with an i7 2700k @ 4.5ghz and 1.3v the vdroop overclocking with DVID on this board is insane though!
Tried to go higher but every time I do the BSODs are very real and constant, not to mention the boot loop on this board

That's a nice low voltage for 4.8Ghz. Still doesn't beat my 4670K at 4.8Ghz though. :D:p:D

new memory on the way which should hopefully help that :p

Managed to get the voltage down further to 1.28v

What memory were you using when you did that run as I believe RAM timings/speed make a difference to this bench

4.8Ghz 1.3vlts, it's 100% Benchmark stable but it's really too much for my Raijintek cooler 24/7, so I normally stick to 4.6Ghz 1.20vlts.

Same as in my Siggy. Sammy Greens clocked with tweaked timings.

Alas, it's locked and I don't really fancy £900 for an unlocked one. Oh well, look on the bright side, at least it only uses 13.8 watts idle and 95w stressed.

Last update was Tonester's from May. There's not been many new scores since then though

It is quite easy and straight forward to update.

  • Click 'quote' on the last update post.
  • Copy and paste the text into Notepad on your PC.
  • Using the same format insert the new data at the correct position in the file.
  • Make a new post in this thread.
  • Copy and paste the text into the new post from Notepad.

No uploads required.

Add other peoples results as you update, not just your own.;)

I have done it a couple of times and it does not need doing too often but I'm just spreading the knowledge. Notepad is a not too bad HTML editor.

Gonna set myself a placeholder since i'm sure this chip will do more. Ignore the voltage, it's misreading for some reason.

Finally got round to doing some testing with the Haswell-E and the Asus X99-E WS. The Asus board is a great bit of kit (Although I have an issue with the DC fans going full whack all the time)

LOL I have 95s/98s/99s but the 99s are currently out. Will get them in the Asus Z10 board when it arrives next week. :)

I know its silly money but boy is it mental at rendering. That said the overclocked 5960X is no slouch and compared to the price of the Xeon it has stonking performance and better graphical performance.
