It can't be all about the cpu speed though as there are a couple of other 4.8Ghz 4670K/4690K's that still fall behind mine.

After read on the Xeon thread people posting Maxon results thought I give my Laptop a go ... hahaha.... well it ain't to shabby as stock machine considering no O'C

My refurb HP Z600 Workstation is waiting in ParcelForce for delivery tomorrow. Will see what that can do with a pair of X5650's and my Firepro V5900.

Woooaaa second hand 400 quid workstation.... chuck in an old GPU... you can laugh at the graphics score, put an old SSD in which had W7 on from old PC... just to get to boot... run Maxon... and smashes it
