that cpu has some really good clocks and single thread perf. despite all the reviewers saying it is a pointless addition.

No its normal toothpaste mode i'm afraid. A bit too wimpy to delid it just now
If you do, make sure you use the tool. Otherwise it's not worth the risk.

The issue is reviewers are not overclocking cache and mems. Our best cpu's are almost 5.5 with 1.35 with high cache and mems. This is a 5.2 bin chip and still crazy performance.
This is for sure the best gaming cpu right now in the majority of cases.

So is this the only chip that can game at 100FPS+ @3440x1440P and 4K? or is everyone using these CPU to game at @1080p @300FPS+?
How much FPS do you need for smooth game play?

No ofcourse you don't need such fps. I am just saying this is currently the best single gpu gaming cpu if money is no object.
