A bit of tweaking and a increase to 4.8ghz core, 4.5Ghz cache got me this:-

How have you got the cache to 4.5. I thought the Haswell cache could only go to 39xbaseclock.

On my i7 4770k when I put the base clock to x40 CPU-Z said it north bridge was capped at 39 still.

You need to adjust the cache ratio in bios, 39 is the default setting. running 45x cpu multi here with 42x cache. 8 Pack reccomends 2-3 notches below cpu multi for best stability iirc.

 strange, i run my cache ratios @44, or 45-46 depending on the cpu overclock i'm going for, for my 24/7 oc (4.6 i use 44x)

Is there not an option in your bios jason to change it? for me i have to change the max first then the min.

This is my everyday development rig with 32GB ram at 1600. Plenty fast for software development, but sure one of the slowest Haswell i7's on the site! On the plus side it runs undervolted at only 1.135 and stays nice and cool!

I have a gigabyte motherboard, I've not seen any mention of a cache setting? My rig is not overclocked much (see post above) but memory speed did increase when I upped the base clock, but only until 39, after 39 it made no difference to memory benchmarks.
