The date for this lunch will be Saturday 6th February, meeting time 12PM.

Can't fault The Woodman for food and location, we'll start there again this time. Will look to change it up when it gets warmer and we can sit outside. Weather dependent we may convoy to another pub, but it worked quite well this time just staying in the one location due to the weather.

List updated, looking to be a good turn out :) What we're probably going to do is sit in the bar area this time and go up individually to order, makes things a bit easier for the large group and saves me being stiffed out of £5 settling to bill at the end lol.

My new years resolution is to make one of these....just need to buy a car first!

Bring the Micra! I'd take a passenger ride just for the nostalgia :D

Maybe from me. It's my birthday the following day so you can all buy me lunch if I come :p

It's my birthday on the following Monday, does that mean we both get a free lunch?!

Mine was a gentlemanly burble I'll have you know! :p

Regret not getting a chance to poke around the Forester at the last one, have a bit of a soft spot for them and how they're more of the gentlemans Subaru :p

And I'm out - another delay but well worth it!

Ps Could the next meet be no earlier than mid-March, please, pretty please!!!

Will be either the 12th or the 19th most likely as I'm out of the country from the 27th Feb - 6th March. Saying that there's a chance I'll be away for most of March... Will know for definite by the time it comes to organize it, so will see how it goes. Failing that, if the lolBHP ties in with warmer weather then it would work quite nicely!

Haha, I meant if there is any driving between locations or just stay at the pub!!

Went out around the area last night in search of a route, found a decent one however even late on a Friday night we hit occasional traffic. The pub we ended up at has a massive car park as well, however the inside may struggle to accommodate our moderate numbers.

List updated.

I would like to attend this meet. Auto glass are replacing my BMW rear glass on this day. Appointment between 8am - 11am. Been advised fitting the repalcement rear screen takes 90 minutes to 120 minutes. If they arrive between 8am & 9am then I can attend the meet as I am in Walderslade nr Chatham. If after 10am then I wil not make the meet. So can you put me down as a maybe please.

As others have said, if the weather is nice then we'll still be around. There's a chance we may move on to a second pub this time, but if we do I'll post the details of it on here for you to see :) I'll send you a trust so you have my email, feel free to message me on the day to find out if we're still around but I warn you the pub is a complete signal dead spot, so if I don't reply I'm not being rude, but we're still probably at the pub!

Good idea, that! Mr Sullivan, get on it!

Put them in the OP instead, a spreadsheet is far too much work :p

Doesn't matter what you do, I still won't remember any names. I still forget the names of people I've been at uni with for 3 years. :p

Who are you?

Sorry guys but just a heads up, I may not be able to make this month's meet, various things have happened this week and my weekends will be pre-occupied handling them.

Hope all is alright buddy, keep in touch :)

These should be mandatory at meet I go to as I've memory like a goldfish when it comes to names!

Ha! This is genuinely a tempting option.

I may not be able to make this meet, as a lorry has broken my windscreen from it been struck with a stone. So I'm seeing how quick I can get it replaced.

Not a problem, keep us posted and hope it gets fixed quickly for you.

I'm a definite for this :) Won't be able to stick around until too late in the afternoon though.

Looks like my car will be the slowest one there so I'm happy to stay at the Woodman :p :D

Awesome, updated :)

My car is currently clean, therefore I will not be driving it at all this week in an effort for it to remain in that state for Saturday :p

Haven't washed mine since a few weeks before Christmas and won't get the time before Saturday. Unless I'm feeling generous enough to donate £10 to sponsor a child in eastern Europe, mine will be filthy lol.

I went for something more subtle...

I love it! Can I keep it? Pretty please?

Do we have to have a nice car for this? :D

I mean my fiesta is nice-ish, but I live pretty close and I'm around this Saturday...

As others have said, this is less about what car you bring and more about the social aspect (with a shared interest of things that go vroom vroom). Everyone is welcome :) Except cyclists, they're slow and the Lycra scares me...

Thread got busy, I'm pretty sure I haven't missed anyones names out but please do shout if I have!

Looks like tomorrow will be a bit of a dry blow.

Given the potential conditions (and the rather large size of the group), we'll stick to the single venue again this time. Decent(ish) surrounding roads too for if anyone wishes to do some passenger rides.

In the highly likely event that I am late, it would be awesome if people could start to congregate in the red circled bit of the car park. It's always empty and should allow us all a good nosey at each others cars without us all being broken up too much.

Excellent, stick me down as a maybe then please. :D

Sorted :)

Might come in the M5, if not then probably along with Nick

Autoglass are fitting a new screen tomorrow... hopefully :(

Given the weather, passenger it will most likely be! See you there.

I'm half tempted to come down now...its just so far. :o

Anyone driving down from midlands?

Please do, would quite like to see the TT :) Not to discourage you but these meets certainly don't have the length of the likes of the rolling road days, so whilst I'd be honored if you felt the large trip was worth it, it's understandable if you don't.

Might be able to make it. Not working overtime this weekend, but have quite a few bits to attend to. Shove me in as a maybe.

Awesome, added.

All sorted booked at Porsche in to be fitted, now that's how it should be nice easy and efficient! Ive cancelled auto glass who have not even ordered the glass yet... What a completely shocking service!

I should be all good for the next meet now.

Sorry to hear dude! Best of luck with the screen from the OPC and look forward to seeing you next month :)

I shall be coming :)

But I won't be pleased with the weather, might need 2 teas to make up for it.

Brace yourselves everyone, sounds like Robbie could be on the warpath!

Is there a little route planned if it isn't chucking it down?

I have something in mind, but tbh am loathed to do it because the roads will be packed, the group will get split up, and the pub that was the ending point would struggle to accommodate this many of us.

I started a "congregation" in your red circled area the other month, and you all proceeded to ignore me and park nearer the entrance  :p

It was raining and was a long walk to the entrance from there :p

How can I say no that. :D

Put me down on the list please. :)

Awesome, updated :)

Vox you going to be late ? If so Ill make my own way down this time or do you want to send me a message in the morning ?

I'm messing around doing various things in the morning so will probably just meet you there if that's cool?

Errrrrr, what kind of meet-up am I missing this time

Did you not see the barmaid last time? ;)

Glen are you in the car park? We're all in the pub, come in and go right, look for the large group of misfits.

Thanks for coming all, was an enjoyable day :) have some pics but left camera in the car, will take a look in a bit.

Good seeing everyone again and meeting some new faces. Hopefully the next one has a bit more sun.

It wouldn't be an SE meet without bad weather :p

That one's going in the wallpaper rotation!

Before I put up the thread for next month, any feedback from anyone? All happy with the pub (may have to change if our numbers increase)? Am aware there's some demand for a bit of a route which may happen in the warmer months, but with 20+ cars it becomes a bit of a handful especially when combined with Kent's traffic, so I'm inclined to say that the format of being at a pub with some alright roads nearby for passenger rides is working quite well.
