I think these kits are amazing for 1st time w/c ers! My 1st time I was stressed and worried about, tubing, barbs, leaking, corrosion etc. Ended up buying a swiftech h20-220 and after that learned a lot about watercooling and feel more confident that you have enough knowledge to go an customise your own :) great work!

you could get a second GPU in there depending on thermal output.

for instance

a 4ghz i7 would be alright on a double radiator
a 4ghz i7 and a 5870 would be alright on a good triple radiator like the one in this kit

if you wanted to run another 5870 in crossfire, i think it would be ok on a triple but you may need to run the cpu a little lower or refine your voltage

any chance of getting the option to change the radiator for a quad?, similar to the option you have in the cheaper watercooled bundle.

You can give sales a call and I'm sure they can sort you out with a quad rad. The price difference between the two isn't very much. I can give you my email if you need me to spec you up a loop?

Radiator Description wrong

Hi,

i've been looking at this, and it seems the best kit compared to other sites.

the radiator says Swiftech RX360 Triple Radiator, but on the swiftech website there isn't one of this model number, but there is a XSPC RX360.

can someone confirm what radiator comes with it?

also how do i get an ickle discount if i order today :D

Thanks

Rich

it is the XSPC radiator, i will get nath to sort this out now

all products are pre-discounted for your convenience ;)

add the components together in a basket and compare the total to the deal with this kit

v.tempted & nearly ready to buy - but, I will need a new case to take the triple rad. I'm planning an i7 setup with a single 5970 and will be searching though the specs, but if the knowledge is out there, can anyone tell me which cases will accommodate the triple Rad and a 5970 ........

Thanks.

Quick question!
Can this be fitted on an Antec 1200?

There isn't really anywhere to put a radiator. A double wont fit on the 2 fans at the back because they are too close to the top of the case :(

Well there's nowhere inside the case without some modding. It has those holes in the back specifically for water cooling tubes though, so I guess you could attach the radiator on the outside.

Hi. I bought this setup on wednesday. Installed it thurs night. I've got a i7 920, gtx470 it all fits perfectly in a coolermaster haf 932. If you want I can upload a couple of pics and measure the gap for the a 5970?

Hi,

According to guru3d, the 470 is 24.5CM and the 5970 is 30CM, i've got another 8CM spare so yours would fit with 2.5CM to spare.

took about 3 hrs to setup (had to rearrange my case), the GFX card was the most time consuming!

CPU on Akasa 967 @ 3.7GHz = 95° throttling :(
CPU on water @ 4GHz = 60° :)

GPU on stock = 90°
GPU @ 830MHz = 45°

so all in all, a lot better!

Hope this helps!
