Might someone be so kind as to explain to me the logic behind these prices? Their meaning eludes me;

A mid-tier and top-tier card at the same price point, with an all-in-one watercooled option only £30 higher?

Where's the mid tier and top tier GPU?
They're all the same higher mid tier GPU at an inflated GPU.

The 'XC Ultra' is EVGA's mid-high tier offering after the 'Black' and the 'XC Gaming', with the 'FTW3' being their top-tier with factory overclock and triple fans.

Yep, the prices creeping up, so much for nvidia better/cheaper SUPER cards. Makes no sense charging £600 for the RTX2070SUPER when you can get it similar models £500-£530 (or less, look around). If your paying £600 you may as well get the RTX2080 for that price and you'll get bit better performance and resale value. Crazy!

Differences between a 2070 super and a high speced 2080 are higher again. The zotac extreme 2080 for example when overclocked is the same as a 2080 Super. The 2070 super is a great 1440 card. A high end 2080 is a decent 4k card

Techpower up suggests the difference is around 20 %. That's a decent jump
