Praise where it is due guys.

My story.

A IC chip pooped on my 5 month old Gigabyte motherboard on Sunday, phoned OC on Monday for a RMA No, posted the board out to them.

Tuesday, had acknowledgment of receipt of board, via email,
Had E-mails of each step, awaiting repair / replacement , contacted
manufacturer for repair or replacement, RMA****** has been replaced.

Wednesday,
Confirmation that a new motherboard was on its way to me via Citylink :)

New Motherboard will be back with me tomorrow.(Thursday)

A very quick and very professional service, something that is very hard to find in this day and age.

Just like to say thank you, for the exceptional service handling my RMA

Which Gigabyte motherboard model was it?

P35C-DS3R,

It happens, don't let this put you off the board, this is the first one I've had go wrong in over 20 MB's.

Good news but why are you allowed good news talk on the forum and not bad news. If the bad people complained ocuk could improve their service further more. I don't understand businesses that hide bad things. I bet there are many bad things happened but thats what it is like in all businesses. A business can't make everybody happy it is impossible.

And just to be on topic. Whenever i ring the shop i am shocked at how quick the phone is answered. I think i asked once if the dude was wearing a chord less in a gun holster on his hip :)

or maybe a headset with auto answer features ? which is like the customer services dept I supervise
 
I RMA'd my p35c-ds3r but it came back not replaced as they said it was working, and it still isn't, im not happy :(

I see, so why is good things allowed and bad things aint, that was my question as I thought shop talk wasn't allowed on the forum? Not having a go just expression something that should be expressed.
 
Not much point in asking, just accept posts will be deleted whenever anything negative about the shop and their service is mentioned.
