OCuk Delivery + couriers

Hi everyone,

Ok this is maybe not the best place to post this but i can't seem to find the info i need on the site. (although, i'm probably blind and its right in front of me)

I'm looking to upgrade my old CRT with a widescreen LCD. Only problem is that i live in a place that is difficult to find and most things that are delivered (attempted) mean that i have to go and pick them up...

Do OCuk only use citylink etc or could i select royal mail (only one that can find me

)

I would have thought an LCD will come via citylink

Last time I bought anything there was the option of both City Link and Royal Mail.

Try ringing up, OcUK may deal with your request

phone them, they'd be able to tell the courier the details when they pick up

when i bought my rig well 700 quid of it city link were an utter disaster. it sat in thier branch 20 miles from me for 7 days in the run up to xmas i phoned ocuk who couldnt do anything or get hold of citylink :mad:

seems no one cared tbh

i still got charged a big fee and had to hunt the package down myself for days.

4 hours in a queue for citylink btw and when i found it i had to go meet the citylink guy to get it wtf?

What I do now (I am in the same boat as you) I tell the people I am ordering from to place a note on the package with details on how to find the address. However, what I have found now is that the couriers have learnt where to go. But I used to have to go everytime and pick up from the depot. V.V.Annoying!
