They just dropped the price of the RX 7700 XT by $30 to $420, if they do the same with the 7800 XT these might also come down $30, tho i doubt it as the 7800 XT is AMD's bets seller in a long time so there is no incentive to do so, tho they might do it with the GRE anyway if it doesn't sell, i suspect that they will sell quite well, they seem to be quite well received by reviewers, other than HUB who seem to have a downed on AMD anyway, even Digital Foundry likes them, which was surprising to me.

Just seen the reference RX7900GRE for around £520ish elsewhere.

Starting to wonder if the site advertising the reference MBA card even has in stock what they're advertising after looking at this pic...This is from the GRE listing, yet the backplate says 7900xt. They do list it as an XFX brand card, so maybe their images are wrong. Or maybe they're correct but the text on the backplate never got changed?

Also in this pic.

The model number is for the reference RX7900GRE sold by XFX:

Interesting, so these are 7900xts with some portions of the core disabled. Sorta surprised they never changed the text on the backplate indicating 7900xt. Wonder if it's possible a bios flash could unlock the entire core. Doubt they'd make it that easy, but in the past it has been that easy.

Depends if the MCM package is the one with six MCDs or four MCDs.
