I swear by OCZ as they have never let me down.

My friend recently bought the OCZ Reaper 6GB 2000MHz version but now he wished he waited as its a great product for the price. Lower timings and better design, and no silly tall HS.

Don't fret about the green pcb, its not a big deal as most PC3-16000 by OCZ are the same, bar the competitors who used black. I know it would probably void the warranty, but would it be safe to carefully spray just the green pcb black?
 
yep - its probably a cost issue. a lot of people dont worry about aesthetics though and the 2000mhz tag is much more important


its a good price for the spec

for instance - the first edition OCZ blade C7 2000mhz kits were £500

the reason for this is because they were hand picked and tested. since memory manufacurers stopped using Elpida ICs the chances of getting low cas/high frequency for a fair price is slim.

thats what makes these good value
 
Doe's the colour matter really? Unless you have a window on the side and even then you would be looked straight down on them you would see little of the PCB.

I need to hurry up and decide the spec of my PC might get these if I go I7
 
surly cooler don't matter, consdering that some people may well have memory coolers anyway assuming these blades would fit under them
