Yes it's shamelessly pinched from another forum, but I thought there are a fair few Fifa 09 players here and thought it would be good for us to have a little competition.

What would your thoughts be on this?

Thinking of running it for the month of July, with 1 entry per person, format is open to 360/PS3. Goal must be in game (not from the arena).

Judge(s) to decide which goal is best (panel of 3(?) to be decided). Prize is simply the kudos of scoring the best goal.
 
I think most people just play online? Making it a bit of a pain, as you can't save goals while online.

May not be the case though.
 
As pointed out, bit of a shame you cant save any from online. Really hope that is included in the next installment.

The best one I have uploaded is http://beta.easports.com/media/play/video/2120875, which isnt anything special, but if you watch it again and watch where he comes from the run is quite impressive and was scored on be a pro mode.

Dont think Ive uploaded a video in months, pretty much since it came out and mostly down to not playing single player.

Oh, and here is Ronaldinho in his strip for next season through a bit of a bug ;)

Have done a delayed rainbow flick over a diving goalkeeper with Torres of Spain in clubs.

Cant save online goals however....lame.
 
well now i can at least hit bananna shots at freekicks -only took me 7 months :D

gonna practice at scoring from corners though as it does seem a bit easier to curl the ball a lot from them.

still cant play fifa online during 5pm - 12 though :/ even though im signed into PSN i keep getting disconnected from ea servers..

That's a crazy amount of curl, how do you curl the ball like that?

I was trying it with Torres in the arena last night, can get him to bend the ball to the right, but cannot to the left (as if he is hitting it with the outside of his boot) is this due to him not being left footed? And if I want to bend it to the left I use a left footed player?
 
Been waiting for online goals to be saved, no chance it will happen in 10. Sucks :(

Can be so easily done too without distrupting the game too.
 
Can I hijack the thread a bit?

HOW do you score freekicks? I wouldn't consider myself bad at the game, but they're the single thing I just can't get the hang of. How do you add curl? Add accuracy?

I try but they either just sail wide or straight into the keeper's arms.
 
left stick for spin, i.e hold it down for back spin, top for topspin

holding l1 whilst shooting will make it a driven shot (ronaldo like)
