Alright, I was bored today and decided to make an OcUK firefox extension.

It goes in the same vein as the SA forums one, code came from over the internet so im not taking full credit for this.

Click on the link, download it off my website or install it direct!

Edit: Just updated it to 1.3.0.
Changed: The Console forum name and some other small changes.

Click for the OcUK FireFox Extension

Ooh, sorry about forgetting a screenshot, thanks guys for posting some.

Glad it can be of some use, I find it handy :)

Does that dynamically generate the forum lists, or are they static? Obviously there are some forums not on that list which I would need to access ;)

Nah mate, its static but im sure I could make a Don/Underboss version if there is a need, all I would need is a forum link/name. Email me if you want and we can sort something out. :)

Just uploaded a new version, now with added Trust and Log Out (why would you want to do that!?) :)

Not sure how it reacts if the user has no Trust as I can't test that, any problems let me know.

Cheers.

When I use the 'View New Posts' button, it always comes up with the 'You have to wait 10 seconds between searching', even if I haven't used the computer for hours! Any possible reason?

No idea there mate, all clicking that button does it redirect to the forums search link, nothing fancy.

I know that you can only do 1 search per 10 seconds on these board.

No, it requires XML input. Since OcUK is relatively well-formed XHTML, you should be able to use XPath to extract forum date without any headaches at all.

Even if it did have something to do with XML output, that would be okay - since the menu is just XUL, which is XML based.

I might have a look into that, cheers :)
