When I use the 'View New Posts' button, it always comes up with the 'You have to wait 10 seconds between searching', even if I haven't used the computer for hours! Any possible reason?

No idea there mate, all clicking that button does it redirect to the forums search link, nothing fancy.

I know that you can only do 1 search per 10 seconds on these board.

It would be pretty straightforward to scrape the forums list with XPath, but I'm not entirely familiar with XUL so I couldn't tell you how to dynamically add them to the menu.
