OcUK Folding hardware

noob question:

I just wondered what hardware the top folders were running ?
...say people like sculptor(OcUK), Gazzza, magman, Babyface_UK ?
(have only seen Bigstan's rigs)

links to pics would be nice

+ I've got a bunch of P4 1.8Ghz going spare, what could I expect per week out of them ?

Got three of those on the farm with at lease 512mb RAM

Currently doing 2412 (600pointer) at 105ppd single thread at 100%
but usually more like 70-80 ppd

so that's 500-700 per week is on 24/7

Most of the high flyers here just have lots and lots of computers crunching. The top 3 people I think have whole schools crunching away!

A P4 1.8GHz should crunch away nicely but not terribly quickly lol. My old rig was a P4 2.6GHz and I think in 3 or 4 months managed only about 12000 points - although it wasn't crunching 24/7.

My mini farm=

p4c 2.4 @3.0 with 1 gig bh5

opty 165 @2.7 with 2 gig ram on an UltraD

and

E6300 @3.15 with 2gig GSkill HZ (producing about 70% of my points) :eek:

Missus wont let me have more than 3 boxes.

but when i get back from this 'holiday' (i hate it soo much

) i will have all my rigs up, most of the top crunchers have large numbers of mid range computers, not a small number of ultra high end rigs, although i would bet there are some people who are rich enough to afford conroe's/other high end cores as crunchers.

I got folding:

1x 1.73 p4 m dothan,
1x amd 4400 overclocked to 2.5,
3x p4 3 gig 600 series ,
1x 3.4 p4 600 series.
1x 2.8 p4c @ 3.2
1x 3.2 p4c
1x p4 3.06 no HT
1x amd 3200,
1x p4 willy 1.9,

all on 24/7

Will post picks of the 1.73 p4m and the 4400 in a moment ( these 2 are at my house ), all the other machine are in beige/black boring boxes at places of work.

Heres one.

Its the 4400 in my office.

Hey Babyface I have that Antec case for my computer at work. Have you had any problems with the fans?

Two of them in mine have seized completly. I tried putting some high temp grease in them, which worked for a while, but they seized again. In the end i bought two new ones.

Funny you say that, when I got the case, one fan wasn't working at all but I coundn't be bothered to rma over a fan. replaced them all as well.

24/7 Machines
X2 3800 @ 2200MHz (needs more tweaking)
XP 2500 @ 1833MHz (rubbish board)
XP 1700 @ 1463MHz (needs a kicking)

Part-Time Borgs
XP 1700 @ 2100MHz (ready to melt)
XP 2400 @ 2000MHz (doing fine

)

Retired Crunchers - In various states of incompleteness
XP2100 Pally - developed an unhealthy habit of EUEing everything in sight

XP1900 Pally - currently between rigs
XP1900 T'Bred - Duron 1600 with unlocked cache, probably next on the list to get back into the game

hmmm putting that in words has made me realise where I can get a nice bit of extra power from :cool:
