Modifications to the standard vbulletin are usually seen as a bad thing to the stable running of the forum (I think that was the deal last time with the proposed inclusion of more something, though I cant remember what it was a while back)

To be honest Safari on my ipod touch scales it to about the right level anyway, just use the zoom function to make it more readable

You don't need an app for these forums. I'm finding it easy enough to browse through my phone. Even on 3g.

Also: Don't need an app for every single thing as some iPhone users believe. Half the stuff on the internet works fine anyways.

Stuff may work fine but most things are so much easier as an app, as they are designed for the screen size and as such have a great lay out and navigation. Forums and general browsing is about the only things I don't need an app for.

I dont personally see the need for an app for this forum, I find it fine.

However, I'd certainly give TapaTalk a try if they implemented it, especially as it seems so easy to do?

I find it fine browsing it on my iPhone 4.

It's better also if put it into landscape mode rather than portrait.
