OcUK Forum Emails

The mail is going to my own domain name... and nothing has changed... if there was any spam, it would go into my Junk E-Mail folder, but its not in there.

All emails from OcUK have stopped completely... without a single setting being changed

Your hosting provider has probably done the same thing mine did 6 months ago, and a large number of hosting companies and ISPs are switching over to using; a technique called Sender Mail Verification (or Sender Address Verification depending on what program they're using on their mail servers), which checks back on a domains mailservers to see if an address is actually valid. Bit more technical details available here. For some reason [email protected] doesn't come up as valid, either because it hasn't been created as an actual e-mail address on their mailserver or their mailserver doesn't respond to reverse checks; and thus gets ditched. I'm stuck using my ISPs e-mail address despite all the issues I have with it and spam because of this. With spam currently estimated as being in the region of 90% of all e-mail traffic ISPs and hosting companies are being forced into this step in an effort to cut down on the work their mailservers are having to do.
