The most extra you're likely to get is 200mhz (to 3.0ghz), which it would probably need a little extra cooling to reach anyway.
 
It's not like the 4000+ is hard to OC atm.

Adjust mem frequency to 166, set fsb to 250, adjust voltage for stability (probably only 1.375/1.4v). Done.

FX-57 would be ever so slightly easier, set multi to 15, adjust voltage for stability. Done.

This is for systems with plain 200mhz mem.

Or on mine, just upped the FSB to 250 and left everything else on auto, you don't get much simpler than that.
 
or take the £300 you'd spend on a fx-57 and spend it on a e6300 and new mobo instead. hey it's budget but with a decent mobo you'll have a clear upgrade path sorted for the next couple of years.

Plus it can get to FX-62 speeds :).
 
If you pay 300 squid for one of these you need to be slapped in the face with a cold wet fish. :p
