Greetings,

Time to upgrade my ageing Ocuk i7 920 @ 4.2ghz bundle I bought from here in 2009!

I have a question or two about this build

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...-gaming-pc-intel-core-i7-6700k-fs-18q-og.html

Does it have case fans in the gpu bay?

The included cooler, Phanteks PH-TC12LS 120mm CPU Cooler, has a height of 74mm but the node 202 case takes max cooler height of 56mm, I know the fan filter can be removed to get extra headroom, but is that enough space? Is the fan mounted externally instead or is the case flexible? If so could a better cooler such as raijinteks pallas be used? Just seems much bigger cooler than seen in similar builds

Thanks

John

The cooler in the description was an oversight on our part. The spec was originally in a slightly larger case.

The build was altered but the description was not.An alternative low profile cooler, such as the Alpenfohn Silvretta would be used. I apologise for any confusion.

There is no need to add a fan into the GPU compartment on this case due to the size and location of the vents in relation to the graphics card fans. The card is fed with fresh air directly from outside of the case.
