OcUK gave me the wrong memory?

Hi,

Last week I took a trip to OcUK to buy some gear. I chose this memory. After installing it all at the weekend, I checked CPU-Z today and noticed this:

Can anyone confirm that this is the wrong memory and what action I should take now? I still have the invoice from the shop which states my order of the GeiL PC2-8500C5 1066MHz memory which was on a 'This week only' deal at the time.

My corsair memory ( see sig ) shows exactly the same in cpu-z.

Other testing software shows it correctly however.

best thing to do is check the part number on the sticker on the memory against the listings on the corsair website, that should tell you exactly what it is.

Its just the SPD table doesn't go above 800MHz thats all... hence why max bandwidth says 6400... its not uncommon with 1000+MHz memory - I believe some boards have problems booting with it otherwise.

It's the same with my corsair 4-4-4-12 6400 memory.

cpu-z only shows it as 5-5-5-15 at 1.8v. It needs 2.1v to run at 4-4-4-12.
