Hey,
I'm either going to buy an...
'EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS SuperClocked 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (640-P2-E825-AR)'
or, at the absolute high-end of my budget the
'OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - OEM'
I'd prefer to get the GTX but a few things concern me.
-----
Firstly, what's the difference between OEM and Non-OEM graphics cards, does it still come with the cooler?
Second, does OCUK warranty still cover it if you've replaced the stock cooling (if it has one) and/or slightly OC'd it, obviously NOT if it dies as a direct result of incorrect overclocking, but just in general (EVGA said they do).
Lastly... I'm not sure if I can ask this here but does anyone know of any Credit Cards that will cover this with their own 2-year warranty (I'm sure I saw somebody mention this somewhere) since the 1-year that comes with it is pretty short.
The answer is probably no to all of the above hence the much lower price than others but I thought I'd ask anyway.
