Sorry but this system was NEVER worth £1700 to start with.

2700x with just a stock cooler and a vega 56??

Even the so called "lower price" is a bit laughable at £1400

Those are some expensive free games alright

Doesn't look that bad for a prebuilt, big nvme drive, decent graphics card, decent cpu . There's a labour overhead to put them together too, don't forget.

the old price is before amd/sapphire/gigabyte and other products were discounted either by vendors or OCUK .

yes they have been at the lower discounted price for a while, but they still list original pricing . its still a good deal, just the original pricing was shocking and they have been on sale price for a LONG time

The parts listed, as is, is £1400 nearly bang on. So it's built, with warranty for free. Doesn't seem bad to me. £1700 is a bit much though.

Acctually it's £1387 without a PSU.

Very true though I've never seen a system builder not do this kind of thing. OcUK seem less guilty than most.
