Not sure if this has been done in previous years. Anyway, I’ve selected a few hardware categories which I hope you agree with. There’s no prizes.. it’s just for fun. If there’s anything you feel I’ve missed then please let me know :)

Post your selections and give reasons as to why you nominated this person and/or the hardware and link to examples where you can.

No Fan boy arguments please

List one nomination in each category.

Here's mine :

Godly Geek - Best HW contributor

RJC - Always there ready to help.

Master Chef – Best Hardware advisor

Stulid - This maybe a runaway winner

X-Factor - Best Hardware of 2011

Although not quite the best SSD on the market, but introducing the Patriot Inferno 120GB was notably a marked improvement on system performance and i'd never go back to a standard HDD for the OS and games.

Daybreak – The Worst Hardware of 2011

Well the bulldozer was a massive disappointment but personally, I bought a Gigibyte GA-A75M to have a play around with. It was a nightmare to get working. An eleventh hour BIOS update just prevented the RTM

Master Mechanic - Best Project log of 2011

joxang legendary project builds but his Corair 600T was both an amazing build and log

Golden Globe - Best Hardware Thread of 2011

Sandybridge Overclocking
Although I've not got one myself, I had the privilege of playing around with a few and this came in very handy.

Looking forward next next as I'm upgrading my entire system and retiring my faithful OC'd Q6600 :)
