OcUK Have G.Skill Incoming

Jesus those prices, now you need to pay more for RAM than CPU.

To be fair their 16GB 3600 C16 kit (listed way down the bottom) is the best DDR4 kit on the market. Their other kits are good but not great and you pay heavily for the factory binning.

Also if you want one of the most overclockable and flexible memory kits on the market, we shall soon be launching our own brand of 8 Pack memory which is designed by me, endorsed and tested by 8 Pack and binned by an overclocker in Taiwan on our behalf and we only use Samsung B die.

Team Group Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black/Grey @ £188.99 inc VAT https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3200mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-08l-tg.html

TDPGD416G3200HC14ADC01, 3200MHz RAM Speed, CAS 14-14-14-31 Timings, 1.20-1.40v VDIMM, Lifetime Warranty with OcUK.

This kit we tested as high as 3866MHz CAS12 in X299 chipset and then slackened it off to C18 and hit nearly 5000MHz, again X299. In Ryzen 3200MHz C12 works and as high as 3866MHz in the best mainboards.

We shall be expanding this 8 Pack range massively and we only use Samsung B die, which cost us a fortune but were not putting junk under our 8 Pack range, ELITE TIER ONLY!

Looking at that Dark Pro 8-Pack RAM, it reminds me of a keyboard, might be fun to see if a matching keyboard could be made with imitation heatsink and the gold contacts painted along the bottom lol.

Then 8-Pack could throw it in with his Ultimate PC's or something, as an additional nice touch.

Out of interest - how tall are they? Look similar height to the Trident Z?

@8 Pack @Gibbo Sorry for the rookie question. I want the 3200 8pack version but i want
quad channel for my x299. So all i have to do is
buy two kits right? in case i buy two kits, should i expect the same performance?

Thanks

Samsungs B-die spec sheet says the modules are good for 1.5v. If you throw the voltage in you'll get 3200c12 on a decent bin.

Also says temps are good up to 100c on the die, don't think I've seen my g skill top 45. Good memory. Shame the RGB via SPD concept is a bit flawed but latest ASUS aura is supposidly behaving on the SMBus interlocks now so the issue is largely resolved. Gskill software however still in beta 9 months after release and largely rubbish...
