OcUK HoN clan

Should we try and arrange a time for a game then. We look like we have enough for a 5v5.

Dont know about starting the clan, as mentioned before its hard to get a game with people if there are a lot of you with tags in a game. People tend not to join.

If people are up for a game we can get one arranged tonight about 8?
 
Tonight is a bad day for me, wont be about till gone 10.

I must admit i've played against quite a few clan members with more than 2 in the side and no one left, also they weren't that good :D. I'd still like to start it if possible (if i see 5 friends on), even if people leave after, just so its in place and easier to get people in afterwards.
 
gametime is better, clans be good when there is matchmaking but atm its hard enough getting a few people on a team without everyone leaving nevermind all having OCUK in name or something :D would scare everyone off at least in noob games

I can't join any games set for non leavers as my stats are broke :(. Hopefuly i can get to the right % soon.

on from about 5-6 tonight until about 12 :D if anyone else is on msg here or in game, take a bit of planning get a few of us in a game because we are always in games when people log on and not everyone wants to wait 45 mins to get in :D
 
ive vaguely been following this game for a while, big fan of savage 2 so expecting to like this, where can i get a beta key though?

Choose the game, activate it which should then link you to a sign-up form for the game. Fill in details and key ~ that you have just been given by the alienware site, and your good to go.

Heroes of Newerth is the game. Its a clan for HoN. All HoN servers are run by the game developers and they have clan support in the game, along with voice chat. This thread is for getting people together from ocuk to add each other in-game.

You don't need to feel threatened by every clan that pops up on OcUK. We've had proper OcUK clans before, but only 1 ever endorsed by the shop. Infact, when Team OcUK were around we were told not to use the forum as a recruitment tool. So you may be walking a fine line, just a word of warning.

Reason i ask is i already have a totally functioning clan TFU ( www.thefallenunit.co.uk) where OCUK'ers are welcome providing they use the current vent OCUK server and get to know every1. We are competitive in ED leagues (CSS), have a casual approch to all games, Have a dedicated box in which we can set a server up in any game at in a flick of the hat. If your starting a clan up you need to say why, what your intentions are, build a clan website, have forums, have servers, have voice comms etc etc.

also you need to speak to the guys who are admin of the steam group (sorry if you already are one) as they already have dedicated boxes and servers set up in OCUK name, so technically these guy's are the best one's to set up a OCUK clan. If your going to start a OCUK clan then it needs to be called OCUK not OCUK Hon.

On top of that our clan has also set up a BF2 server and given a few ocuk members admin and complete control over the sever + we have set up a ocuk vent server.

Just strange how you say its an OCUK clan let you've put your own spin on it Hon.

Sounds like i'm having a go i know, look why dont you use the OCUK vent server i've set up and you can sort it out from there?

Also if you are going to set up a clan and have a server...... Our clan might be able to rent you a server for much cheaper that anywhere else and with outstanding reg. I'd have to speak to the other leaders first tho.

+ our guys would be able to set the server up for you and get it running how a server should.

Wow dude... sounds like you're trying to recruit people to your clan tbh.

All I did was offer a mumble server to use as I didn't know there was an OCUK vent server. Didn't mean to "put a spin" on anything.

Also: sounds like you don't even know how HoN works, it's all hosted by the company!
 
HoN is Heroes of Newerth ;). Think you have the wrong end of the stick :D.

PS

Is anyone still up for joining this / something similar? At the moment i'm 100% solo pub player.
