Salary: Dependant on experience but to attract the best
Reporting into the Managing Director you will responsible for growing OcUK's revenues within specific product groups, developing strong manufacturer/supplier relationships and driving down the best possible buy price.
Working alongside your other Buying colleagues you will control and maintain all purchasing, content management and merchandising of your product range.
Your areas of Responsibilities will include;
You will have great enthusiasm for particular product groups particularly Peripherals, AV or Systems (PCs)/Laptops.

- Sourcing of Products
- Setup, merchandising and ongoing management of your product groups
You will have great enthusiasm for particular product groups particularly Peripherals, AV or Systems (PCs)/Laptops.
Key attributes that you will be able to demonstrate include;
- You are tireless in your approach to hunting out best priced deals
- You do not accept the first price given and happy to enter into firm negotiation to drive the buy price down
- You are driven to keep picking up the telephone, using email and MSN to search for stocks of products
- You are committed to ensuring OcUK is first to market with new product
- You have a continual thirst/hunger for new products
- You can describe the latest & greatest products in detail
- Know or know where to find out what is coming up next
- Know or can understand what an OcUK customer would or would not buy
