POST UPDATE: 12:50 (08/06/06)

Just got off the phone with GrandPrix Karting in Birmingham.

They are sending me an info pack but in the meantime the chap recommended the endurace racing.

The cost would be £49 per person. There are teams of 3 and the endurance lasts 1hr 30mins plus 15mins of qualifying at the beginning.

The day would consist of:

Fully Kitted out
Briefing

15mins qualification.

They then send out a pace kart to construct the grid.

The endurance then begins.

They award trophies/medals for the top rankings.

It's up to the teams to decide on tactics but everyone will have at least 30minuts of racing time if everybody is fair, which I am sure they will be.

We would have the facilities to ourselves and currently I can book any sunday in August EXCEPT the 13th.

Please let me know your thoughts on this...

Regards,

Chris

definitely interested depending on venue, bristol would be too far for me

always wanted to go karting but never had mates who wanted to go

put me down :)

Definitely would be interested, although both are a bit of a hike. The faster the better, depends on cost and date though.

Birmingham and i'm there, and for the record its not due to the distance, its due to indoor karting = t3h sux0r compared to outdoor!

Going up karting near(ish) Birmingham on July 1st, Whilton Mill. I'm going there for a kart meet with another forum :p

I'd prefer Bristol because it's closer, could do it all in 1 day.....but could go up to Birmingham, just would need to sort accomodation etc
