Hi,

I have configured the following and just looking for some opinions;

Processor: AMD Kaveri A10-7870K
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB 1866Mhz
Graphics Card: See questions at bottom
Hard Drive: Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD
Case: Kolink Satellite Micro-ATX Cube Case - Black

I just love the cube case and the fact I can configure it so thanks OcUK :)

Questions:

1: I have another 8Gb DC kit of the exact same memory, will the AMD A68 Motherboard support 4 slots? I can't see the exact motherboard model?

2: I am going to buy the GTX 750Ti at some point to fit in, will this break any sort of warranty?

3: Is the graphics on the APU better than my current card which is a nVidia GT610 (2Gb)? I only play TF2 and CSGO so nothing mega.

4: I did spec up the Intel cube which was the i5 6600, however it seems cpuboss scores the AMD as better in comparison, would you agree?

5: If I paid more could you ensure quality cables are used internally and some additional cooling (if needed?) - I know this one if probably a no :)

Thanks very much, hopefully no bad news comes from my questions and I can buy :)

If this is the motherboard then no:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Only OcUK can confirm. Phone them or post in Customer Services forum tomorrow.

Unless rules have changed, no. Just don't break the PCI-E slot. :p

Probably, slightly.

It depends for what. 6600+ dedicated GPU is a lot better than 7870K + dedicated GPU.

Pretty sure they can, but post in Customer Services.

Hard to offer further opinions without an idea of your max budget and if you need Windows or anything else.

Thanks for reply.

So the 6600 is better if I get the gpu than buying the amd with same gpu. I don't get it as the scores are higher on amd...

I'll ring them tomorrow. Thanks

The 6600 is a far superior cpu and will last you a lot longer than the AMD would.

I love AMD but their CPUs at this point suck unless you want a cheap quad core.
