heh GA was one of those places i never ever wanted to go back.

dont know if youve done it since the revamp- much improved with some fantastic weapons/shields to barter for. Need to do quite a few runs though to complete daily challenges and get enough eglain tokens

You're right, not been there since any revamp, will look forward to it now :)

Haven't played Lotro for 6 months but have a lifetime sub, lost interest as Moria was realeased. I might roll a toon to join you guys in June if you are still playing lower levels?

Everyone is in and around the lower levels, some are getting onto the late twenties and thirties but there will be people around your level no worries.

When you get on find the officer list a page or two back and drop us a whisper for an invite.

Anyone fancy another Barrows run sometime this week? Really enjoyed the last one.

I will organise two for you all incase people cant make certain nights.

To make sure people are using the Kin site I will post the dates and times up on there in the next half hour or so. So go sign up guys :D

edit: dates and times are up on Kin site for runs.

Still loving the game, just trudging through north downs at the mo. Gotta travel all the way to lonelands for burglar quest :(

Really ought to stop doing deeds and just concentrate on questing. Although the beast ones really do help with tailoring.

We need a list of characters + crafts on the website - has everyone signed up?

Hey peoples, been a fairly relaxed player over the last 18 or so months of lotro, but want to try and get back into it.

Take it I can just sign up via the mmoguild site? Ive got a bunch of characters around level 10 and one level 57, are you mostly running through as new(ish) characters right now? So should I be working on my one of my lower level guys to get them up or just stick to plodding along with my main?

EDIT: submitted as my main Thranilin Dwarfy Champ

What are the chances of getting people to help out in this Kinship, because my current Kniship on Snowbourn are arrogant *******.

No need to submit an app as long as your an OcUK'er :) here is an officer list

Cindwyn (me)
Caldir (sleepery)
Halmorg - (m0r94n)
Chlothalion - (KaylanCloud)
Cwyngael - (Deadbeat)
Ragu - (Frapple)
Toneh - (Toneh)

There is always one of us online, just whisper someone and we will sort you out with an invite. Bring yourself and your alts along. At the moment it is mainly lower level stuff as we are pretty much all lower levels, getting into the high 20s low 30s at the mo. Though there are a few at or around the cap with their characters so if you want to play your main there will be someone about to play with im more than sure.

Everyone is generally more than willing to help. We have ran instances and I am yet to see a circumstance where someone has asked for help and not received it. We are currently working on setting up a good crafting system in the guild where most bases are covered to help each other out where needed, though Kay seems to have pretty much all them bases covered by himself :p

To be honest people normally offer to help before you get the chance to ask.

On a side note let me stress to anyone who is wanting to join that we are a casual and friendly guild. That is our focus and even at higher levels I find it unlikely that we will turn into someon insane hardcore raiding guild. It is a chilled out atmosphere and we want to keep it that way so if you are wanting to step into a hardcore raiding guild who only concentrate on clearing content and being number one our kin will sadly not be the one for you. Additionally we are, at least for the forseeable future, keeping recruitment on a solely ocuk/ocuk friends basis as we want a good atmosphere, at the moment it is pretty much perfect!

We will more than likely do some raiding when everyone is capped out but as I said it will certainly be more casual than not.

Sign ups for the Kin site are a little sporadic at the moment but there has been no real emphasis on it (plus it has only been alive for about 4 days) but going forward im only going to be announcing Kin events on the website, so if people are wanting to know what is going on and get to come along to events they are going to have to sign up. Dont see any problems getting sign ups when I start to put a little focus on it.

I need people with the following crafts to give all the stuff I find to;

Metalsmith
Weaponsmith
Woodworker
Scholar - Cwyngael (Deadbeat)
Jeweller
Cook
Farmer

If anyone has any sturdy leather, it would help a lot.

Got a shed load of treated ash/yew (150+ of each) & barrow-iron that people can have.

Righto, I'll try and be on for a few hours tonight.

Also Frapple, my main is a metalsmith (armourer/tailor/prospector) almost top tier except for tailor that's a bit lacking. And one of my alts (a runekeeper probably the one ill level up) is a damn good cook many tiers above her level. Got a hobbit burg who is a decent farmer but pretty much top tier forester (hides>leather). They don't particularly need the materials (except for farming stuff, its always handy but it can be bought and Ive got a fair bit of money) but can help out where ever anyone needs anything made; hides to leather, some decent food and great heavy armour etc.

Metalsmith - Soldarin
Weaponsmith - Cwyngael
Woodworker - Branrien
Scholar - Cwyngael (Deadbeat)
Jeweller - Kordkarim
Cook - Kordkarim
Farmer - Kordkarim/Cwyngael

Fix'd :)

Though to be honest I'm not fussed about the cooking & farming stuff. Obviously anything I get for metalsmith, woodworker or jeweller would go toward helping anyone who needs em. Like newts' new bows :)

Also, I'm not laying exclusive claim, just saying if you need to clear some space and nobody's around to take stuff off your hands, I'll dispose of mail in appropriate fashion, and Branrien & Cwyngael are pretty much gonna be my mains.

Edit:

p.s. - everyone be sure to admire Branrien's new title when you see her :D

Let me know when you're on, can't bothered giving you 30 recipes by mail :P

I'm near Bree catching up on book quests if you want to get it all now.

As much as i'd like to transfer, i think i'll be staying on Snowbourn due to my legendary weapons which apparently can't come with me to other servers.

Just a quick plug of our kin site and forum. Due to the way its all structured I think it will make some forms of discussion a lot easier, at the minute I think we're running the risk of wading through posts and pages to find something we need when it could be in a nice neat topic :p.
