I've not been online for a few weeks now with my ocuk char, been doing a few raids with my main char and guild in an effort to get radiance up.
That's started slowing up again of late, so Pery the hobbit minnie should be around again with a vengance

To be honest having four or five people on each evening at the height of summer isn't too bad. We have as many again 'on leave' either waiting for the free to play or caught up in work, or trying to catch up on their steam purchases.
As long as they come back and stay, and not return for 3 weeks and then bugger off for WoW Cataclysm !
Still mulling over that lifetime offer myself. We'll see, I know that some of the old guilds that I used to hang around with are still playing Grey Guard, Silent Minority etc...so theres always that option.
Supposed to end on the 30th, but thats not a problem, I have the means to get it beyond that date anyway.

I play mostly casually but intend to put a good few more hours into the game especially before it becomes F2P. Really enjoying it so far but with the Steam sale it's been hard to find time lol.

I've been getting an issue with my PC where the game lags, monitor goes black, comes back on and game returns to normal.
It did this during a mission where I had to escort a man and he got killed. Can you replay the mission or is that it?

Pretty much all of those types of quests are repeatable on fail. Give it a few minutes and he'll respawn back at their camp. If you massacre your way in through the front door, avoid the slope on your left and kill everything within range leading up the canyon, it'll be easier - normal mobs make it much harder to protect these suicidal NPCs when you've got quest mobs spawning in place too.
Anyway, I've been absent for a few days for work, and I'm likely to be absent more when I finally get the FFXIV beta working, but you can /tell Cwyngael if I'm on for an invite. The safest bet, though, is to /tell Feliz - he's always on
