Cheers guys - Didn't have too much time to play last night. Got about half an hour in, started doing a few quests in which I asume to be the newbie area.
I think I just need to get used to a new system, as an ex WoW'er I'm all too used to playing WoW so I'm in the phase of comparing everything to it.

I've started a captain (10) on Laurelin so can I join you guys? We like to help on Q's etc and have fun. An active kin-chat is what we like
Me and the Mrs have a champ/mins on Snowborne but tbh want to start again. We used to play constantly but went off it a bit after Moria. Saying that the bits past Moria are good. (Although I don't like the micro-leveling stuff). We got lifetime accounts etc, so may as well play the game.

As a general point to any who are interested recruitment is going well and the Kinship is going nicely. We will take in any OcUK'ers and your buddies if you want to join. We are nice and social and as time goes by we will be getting into the instances and stuff as there will be enough of us.
To be honest I did not expect things to go even this well so come join in the fun!!

First Kin event is happening tommorow night.
We are going to be running the Great Barrows in Bree land (level 20ish instance) for members.
Not exactly the biggest and grandest start but I am sure it will be a start of our many adventures!
Stick your name in here if you want to join in or be online at atound 19:30 for some in kin fun!
Additionally expect to see our Kin website up and running in the near future. When Kay isnt busy with his 703 alts he is working hard to set up the Kin website, much appreciated mate! Keep up the hard work!

If you have the ability to harvest metal, please do so for tin and copper nodes especially. These are mixed to make the 1st tier bronze ingots metalworkers need to progress.
Once you're past tier 1, it gets much easier as you don't need two different types of metal, but that first tier is a bugger since you need both types, and tin is a lot rarer than copper.

so to confirm you guys are on server - Laurelin and have a kinship called Old Council to the Undying Kings?
i've bin on lotro since launch, but no one i know plays (they're all still on wow), so in a grand total of 3 years play i have managed to level 3 characters to only lvl 22
maybe if I come join you guys it'll spur me on to experience more of the game as i do enjoy it more than other MMO's.
