Hello Forum.

Why am I being kicked, again and again when I join an "OCuK" server?

I join and am removed? I don't normally have time to say / do anything?!

Do we have new servers? I always thought that the OCuK ones were good, but recently haven't been able to play!

I've been kicked several times.

No reason other then joining it seems, games that have just started, or midway through

On a random selection of OCuK servers.

My in game name is [OCuK]iTummy.

Really Really dissapointing / annoying.

It was not a server crash.

I was removed a couple of times by public vote, no reason given.
I was removed a couple of times by Admin, no reason given.

Infact one admin said that we were breaching the Valve Anti Cheat thing, and I just thought "what a ****" and left.

I only join the [OCuK] Link to Insanity servers, Maybe the other ones but I've had problems on them all.

Sucks, I really really enjoy this game. For the last 3/4 days I've had no luck been able to get a stable server (other then with Killswitch).

you've probably joined randoms on the server hence the vote kick.

I thought when admins spoke on the servers it was just normal chat, and there wasn't a way to make it just says Admin : ....

Why am I being vote kicked and banned? I don't do anything other then join the server, not always full either.

ocuk server don't say admin, they either say the names or don't say anything as it's through rcon.


I think you've joined another server by mistake.

Was deffo an OCuK server.

It wasn't someone playing called Admin, if that makes sense, it came up in white writting ect ect.

I think this needs investigation.

IE: steam friend add to a few admins, and follow/accept an invite.

Sorry but I really doubt ocuk admins would be complete dicks, and we also have the main admins of the server saying what you explain is IMPOSSIBLE to do on their servers kind of makes me trust them more. Also you saying you can't be bothered to join anymore.... something fishy is going on.

I've been kicked / removed lots and lots of times recently, I only play on the OCuK servers to try and avoid idiots.

You mean because I can't find a good server and as a result I can't be bothered to play?

Prove me wrong by all means.

The only jip i've come into on ocuk servers is when they are lobbied and have a reserve spot for someone, then its me who gives people who join hell! (in a jokey way ofc)

I try and join lobbies, normally the servers have a game in session, I'll join a game with the lowest players normally.

I doubt it's anything to do with my game files but I'll refresh them in the hope people might not remove / ban / kick me.

Nope.

Wouldn't be ranting if i'd be told what I was kicked / banned / removed for.

Tell a lie, we were on the 8v8 last night and motorhead got the spec bug on the 4th map. Before he had time to rejoin after disconnecting to fix it, someone stole his spot. We asked for him to leave and then everyone vote kicked him off. He didn't reply so it seemed fair and Motorhead was trying to get back in.

Why is he "stealing" his spot? I don't get that.

That's not though is it?

Motorhead doesn't "own" that slot does he? It's a public game and anyone can join?

It's just normally polite to leave and let them continue playing, but I don't think it is stealing his place.
