I've cut a few auto config features from the one on the steam forum, and added a few small tweaks to it.


Features of this are..

// - Pressing F11 will toggle the glow mode
// - Pressing F9 will toggle 3rd person
// - Holding TAB will bring up a net_graph 3 in position 2, letting go will hide it again
// - Pressing F8 whilst on an ocuk server will bring up sm_admin screen (admins only, keys 6-0 bound for correct use)
// - Max ping 120ms set.. when searching for a dedicated server, it will only join servers with under 120ms ping


Examples of the tweaked glow mode..

Default player/icon glow

New glow (press F11 to toggle the 3 glow modes)

Items pulse in green/yellow or lightblue/darkblue depending on which setting you're on

Holding TAB brings up the scoreboard and a net_graph 3 (usefull for quickly checking ping/connection), releasing it makes net_graph 3 go away

Boomed survivors appear in purple

Smoked/huntered appear in orange pulsing glow

How to install

Right click and save this file

Drop it into the folder Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\cfg

That's it!

Once you've settled on a final version we'll have to get a link posted to it in the steamgroup.

Looks like a good config bledd. Probs won't use it myself (as a lot of the changes actually annoy me lol) but I can see this being useful for some of the L4D players on here

fyi, it doesn't actually say 'boomered' onscreen, I added that in Paint
