So I feel my mouse and keyboard are holding me back and could do with a change for something more aimed at gaming as I play fast paced FPS's.

Currently have:

Logitech K750 Wireless Keyboard.

Logitech Performance Mouse MX

What im thinking of replacing them with:

Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – Black - Red Switch

SteelSeries Sensei Pro

Question is which is most likely to make the biggest positive to my gaming as I cannot afford both at the same time?

Cheers.

How does that mouse feel in your hand? if it fits snuggly and you don't find yourself adjusting your grip every 5 mins or so (or when you die) then the keyboard is the better option....

Yes it find it very comfortable i just felt the wireless speed may be holding me back and would get better reaction times with a wired gaming mouse.

Keyboard. Your mouse is fine.
Wrong way round.

I still don't understand how a gaming keyboard benefits gameplay, unless you do use the macro keys which a lot of gaming keyboards don't even have.

Gaming mouse + office keyboard is just as good as gaming mouse + gaming keyboard.

The best keyboard is simply the one you're most comfortable using, ie its the ergonomics that are important.

I would probably go for the keyboard first, but mostly because I hate low-profile keys. For me a keyboard with cherry red switches is essential, but that's because I play a lot of music/rhythm games.

I would say keep whatever one you are most comfortable with a little longer. In FPS your mouse probably makes more of a difference, but assuming both your mouse and keyboard are working correctly I don't expect you'd see huge performances differences.

If you were being handicapped by your peripherals it'd already be obvious which one you needed to change.

Low profile keys are awful for reaching combinations.

Mechanical keyboards are noisy, so bear that in mind when choosing.
Mouse, I would go for the G700
but your mouse like everyone else has said is fine.

Different people suit different keyboards. Not all keyboards are the same. Gaming ones are not just about macro keys or lights for playing in the dark. They also have ghosting technology. Go for the keyboard.

Personally though, I don't think that is going to solve your problems with FPS
