OCUK Memory only running at 800Mhz ?

You will probably have to manually enter the figures:

Freq: 533 (1066 active)
CAS: 5
TRCD: 5
TRP: 5
TRAS: 15
Volts: 2.1v

It's not overclocking really. Motherboards as standard have to boot RAM at 1.8v which is the industry standard, however some RAM is required to run at a slightly higher voltage, but due to the motherboard having to boot it in on the first boot at 1.8v you have to manually change the figures yourself in the BIOS.

OK, I'll tell him to try that.

Thanks for the speedy reply, I told him to buy the RAM so felt a bit responsible for the problem :)

Heh :)

Oh just a quick note on the Gigabyte boards, their voltage stuff is a little different than picking a value I think and instead it's "+0.1v", "+0.2v" and so forth, so since the motherboard is 1.8v he'll need to set that at +0.3v. He might get some thing flashing up saying "VOLTAGES NOT OPTIMIZED" but just ignore that.
