Im looking into getting another x1800xt to go crossfire, why dont ocuk do these mastercards?? They would sell thousands considering i cant find one of these anywhere!?? unless im missing something

also will my system handle it?

Enermax Noisetaker 535W
Athlon 64 3700+ sd / arctic freezer 64 pro
Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe
2gb Corsair XMS3200c2
ATI X1800XT 256mb

2 things im worried about are the psu might not have the power? and maybe the cpu could get bottlenecked? which would make it a stupid buy

why not just buy the X1900 mastercard? they're backwards compatible.

i think you may be a bit underpowered for Crossfire...

is the 3700 at stock speeds?
what res do you game at?

if its 1280*1024 or below then it might be a waste of money. :(

2.6/2.7 ghz, and at the moment i play at 1152x864, but like to play with vsync on and everything set to its highest

and im buying a new 19" widescreen soon, playing at 1440 x 900

They don't stock x1800 master cards anymore as they have sold out of what they had, x1800's are not made anymore, they were stopped in January when the x1900 came out. :)

pretty pointless ordering an Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe then

Not unless you can find a master card, theres a few ppl on here said there is still some kicking around, only trouble is finding them. :(

Why not just sell your x1800xt and get a x1900xt and clock it?? At those resolutions I wouldn't say crossfire is worth the price or hassle. You'll not pick up a x1800 mastercard for cheaper than the x1900xt's on offer this week.

yeah i suppose, im sure the x1900xt overclockded will out do 2 x1800xt's on crossfire anyway wouldnt it

im ordering a motherboard today, just cant make my mind up which one to get. My previous experience with an asus a8n-sli se was really bad. Games where well choppy, so im uncomfy buying an sli board for my ati gc.

then again i see so many people on here with ati cards on an sli board :mad:need to make my mind up asap so it turns up tommora
