OCUK O-rings

Nobody? :( Ah well, my new Ducky Shine III TKL (Red switches, white LEDs) is on it's way, I'll test it out and then see if the o-rings are back in stock at a reasonable price. If so I'll report back on how they are!

Basically it will feel like your keys will bottom out earlier, but I think it also makes it feel more natural.. even though you are not supposed to really bottom out keys on the mechies anyway.

Also makes them more quiet.

I don't have the OCuk ones specifically, but an O-ring is an O-ring.

All on now... liking the change :)

I don't notice the keys bottoming out any earlier, but it does make the keystrokes a bit quieter but mostly it changes it to feel and sound tighter and higher quality, less plasticy. The noise difference is most significant when I am over-enthusiastic with the keys when e.g. playing a game otherwise it's pretty subtle.

Got loads left, not quite sure what to do with them...

I got mine yesterday as well. So far I'm not actually liking it as much :S Going to give it a bit more time before taking them off.

The positive is though that I'm starting to stop before bottoming out on the o-rings now (as I don't like the feel :P) So maybe I can treat them as training wheels and once i'm ready i can take them off and type properly without! :D
