No idea which thread to put this in so i'll put it here

Now everytime i play games and then use the net, after shutting down my computers have always acted up a bit ie not finding any sites. But since i started playing SWBF2, sure my net is knackered afterwards, but the strange thing is that the only site i seem to be able to access is these forums Even my mail client Mozilla Thunderbird can't access the net to retrieve mail. Is there something special about this site? Apart from the obvious or am i just getting nudged into buying more hardware by computer faeries (proper evil ones ).

who knows. sounds pretty odd to me. uninstall your modem drivers and re-install em perhaps.

If you use the forums before/during playing games, it could be a DNS issue. Your PC would have the forum address cached locally.

Try pinging a few other sites, or noting down their IP addressed and using those instead.
