I don't really know which ram to get. I could either get 1gb of OCUK ram or 1gb of Geil Value ram. I am going to get an athlon 64 3200+ cpu so which ram would perform best with it? (I am no overclocker)

GeIL - the timings are better and worth the extra few pounds. Having said that, you aren't an overclocker and the OcUK ones do exactly what they say on the tin. As long as they are rated at CAS2.5 and not CAS3, then either really. The difference is £5 and the OcUK chips apparently use Nanya RAM (decent value RAM). I hope I haven't made it any harder for you!!! :D

GeIL Value - 2.5-3-3-6 1T
OcUK Value - 2.5-4-4-8 1T IIRC so the GeIL is faster but £5 more.

 Choose whichever, there is more bandwidth in the GeIL and the timings are quite a bit tighter, so I personally would buy them, but the decision is yours.

I will properly go for the geil then. Thanks for the reply!
Could someone please show me how the ram timings work? All those numbers seem so random to me!
